Hello & Welcome!
My work is primarily focused on Functional Ceramics home goods and jewelry. I developed a love for clay in high school and have continued to work within this medium ever since! I believe that ceramics gives me the perfect work surface for my illustrations and I love that functional items can also have a Fine Art emphasis within their design.
I hope that my work brings joy every time it is used!
My process has evolved over the years and I am continuously looking for new ways to push myself in my work. For a number of years I worked predominantly in slip-casting, making my own molds from plaster that I can then pour liquid clay into to create a shell. Over time I have also brought hand-building techniques back into my practice in an effort to expand the shapes and complexity of forms I am creating.
